FIND A DEALER
OUR
STORY

In 1954, Arne Doucetee-a welder by trade-looked at the trailers available on the market and saw an opportunity to build something better.

What began as one man’s conviction that a stronger trailer was possible became a manufacturing operation that has served the heavy hauling industry for over seven decades.

From that founding principle, Arne’s has grown into one of North America’s most respected trailer manufacturers, known for building steel dump trailers that outlast and outperform their competitors. Three generations later, the same principle holds: build it right, build it once, and stand behind it.

ONE ROOF
TOTAL CONTROL

Arne’s operates from a single manufacturing facility at 835 Mission Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This is a deliberate choice, not a limitation. By keeping every phase of production under one roof-from cutting and forming to welding, assembly, painting, and quality inspection-we maintain complete control over the finished product.

There are no third-party assemblies, no outsourced subframes, and no remote production lines. Every Arne’s trailer is built by our team, inspected by our team, and backed by our name.

This approach creates natural scarcity. We don’t produce thousands of units per year because we don’t compromise on the process that makes an Arne’s trailer an Arne’s trailer. Demand consistently exceeds supply, and our customers understand why.

WHAT WE
BUILD

Our core product line consists of steel dump trailer models spanning end dump, side dump, and belly dump (hopper) configurations. These models represent the majority of our production and have been refined across decades of builds to deliver the optimal balance of payload, durability, and maintainability.

Beyond our standard product line, Arne’s is one of only six firms in North America capable of engineer-to-order custom trailer builds. We design and manufacture specialized trailers for applications including mobile transformer substations, industrial haulers, and other projects where no off-the-shelf solution exists.

OUR
VALUES

Craftsmanship Over Volume

We would rather build fewer trailers at a higher standard than increase output at the expense of quality. Every unit that carries the Arne's name reflects our reputation.

Transparency in Engineering

We publish our material specifications, our warranty terms, and our build standards because we have nothing to hide. Our trailers are built with 100,000 PSI tensile frame material and finished with Sherwin Williams paint products, and we want our customers to know exactly what they’re getting.

Long-term Relationships

Many of our customers have been buying Arne’s trailers for 20 or 30 years. That kind of loyalty isn’t earned through marketing-it’s earned by delivering a product that performs, year after year, in the most demanding conditions.
